Elements
Learn about the four element types you can add to any slide.
The element palette gives you four building blocks to compose your slides: Text, Container, Image, and Tag. Each serves a distinct purpose and can be nested, styled, and positioned independently. Select a tool from the toolbar and click on a slide to place it.
Text elements are the most common building block. They support multiple text levels (Title, Title 2, Title 3, Body, Body 2) and inline formatting like bold, italic, and underline. You can edit text directly on the canvas by double-clicking the element.
Each text element can have its own font family, size, weight, color, letter spacing, line height, and text transform. You can also assign a color variant (primary or secondary) that automatically maps to your theme colors.
Containers are flex-based layout boxes that hold other elements. They support both row and column directions, alignment controls, gap spacing, and padding. This makes them the backbone of complex slide layouts.
Containers can be nested to create sophisticated arrangements. Set a background color or gradient on a container to create cards, callout boxes, or highlighted sections. You can also control overflow behavior to clip content that exceeds the container bounds.
Image elements let you place photos, icons, logos, and illustrations on your slides. You can upload images from your device, drag them from the asset library, or paste a URL. Supported formats include PNG, JPEG, WebP, and SVG.
Each image element has controls for object fit (cover, contain, fill) and object position, giving you precise control over how the image fills its frame. You can also set alt text for accessibility.
